Heartsaver CPR AED Training
Heartsaver courses are intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
This class was designed to teach you how to perform CPR, relief of choking, and AED Usage on adult, child, and infants. This course teaches essential lifesaving skills. During the class, our instructors will carefully guide, observe, and provide feedback to all the students.
This AHA Heartsaver CPR AED class covers the following topics:
- Scene Safety and Assessment
- Adult CPR
- Child and infant CPR
- AED Use
- Adult, Child & Infant Choking

- This class fulfills the CPR requirement for the California Teaching Credential
- This class is NOT for Daycare Providers, Preschool Teachers or Bus Drivers (Please take our Pediatric First Aid and CPR Course)
- This class is NOT for people who work in the healthcare field. (Please take our BLS course if you are in healthcare)
- The student manual is included in the price of the course. The AHA requires that you possess a current Student Manual for the course during and after the class. If you already have the current Student Manual for Heartsaver CPR AED. Student Manuals will not be mailed in advance.
- The current Student Manual was released in May 2020.
- The current Student Manual Number is 20-1126.

Our American Heart Association eCards are extremely convenient allowing you to access your eCard certificates anywhere. Paying for replacement/copy certification cards is a thing of the past. Each eCard certificate includes a unique eCard code which allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. Certified individuals as well as employers can visit the American Heart Association (AHA) Certificate Verification web page and enter the AHA eCard number found on the digital CPR Card to access up to date certificate and student information.

Hybrid Online Heartsaver CPR AED Course
This is for anyone who has already taken the online course through the AHA. You should have a printable certificate of completion from the online course.
