Heartcode BLS hybrid class is a self-directed eLearning course allowing students to take BLS (Basic Life Support) from an internet connected device as an alternative to traditional classroom-based classes.
This online hybrid class uses Cognitive Assessment Activity cases to train students to administer patient treatment and assistance in virtual healthcare settings. In this online environment, students apply their knowledge to patient cases and see the results of their decision in real-time.
Heartcode BLS (Online Course +Skills Check) meets the requirements for Initial or Renewal certifications.

Save A Life CPR teaches AHA American Heart Association BLS Provider and BLS Renewal certification classes. Basic Life Support which is a type of emergency care that first-responders, healthcare providers and public safety professionals provide to anyone who is experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, respiratory distress or an obstructed airway (choking). The AHA BLS class reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
BLS class skills include:
- High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
- Important early use of an AED (automated external defibrillator)
- Effective ventilations using a barrier device and bagmask
- Importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR
- Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
CPR & First Aid
During our CPR and AED class, you will learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies. Skills include:
How to give high-quality chest compressions
How to care for conscious and unconscious choking
How to deliver ventilations
How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
How to care for sudden illness and injuries
How to provide care until EMS arrives

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED
This course is compliant for the California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) and satisfies Title 22 requirements for CPR & First Aid Training for Childcare Providers & daycare workers. Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED is for daycare workers, preschool teachers, camp counselors, and anyone who works with infants and children.
